smokey 2.8td

hey guys, i'm new and would like to thank you all for your threads as they have been a great help in the past. i'm having trouble and would like advice. my 2.8td runs rough and blows smoke on cold starts, it clears up after about 30 seconds then starts and runs fine for the rest of the day. any help?

I had the same issue with my 2,8td, the thing that helped me where to replace glowplugs that where faulty.

A heap of people don't read the intros so chuck your Q up in the mechanical section. I rekon Daniels on the money with glow plug replacement though
