Pippindinny is off limits.

Tims Thicket (South of Dawesville) is the start of the legal beach access south of Mandurah but many people drive a few K's further and go in at Whitehills to bypass the headland that cuts off at high tide.

Google the Mandurah City website for the maps (very good) or just turn right into Tims Thicket or Whitehills Road and follow your nose... you cannot get off again until Preston Beach or Myalup

There is also a km of beach you can drive on behind the power station,

No worries... Uuummm if you were interested in NOR then you can go up to Two Rocks and take the track North of the Marina off Soveriegn Drive. Whilst you are in Wanneroo City you cannot drive the beach or dunes but they have Beach Access spots you can walk thru for a swim or picnic. Keep going further along and as soon as you hit Gin Gin Shire boundary beach access is permitted.

It is an aternative to going in via Wilbinga and that mongrel slog thru the limestone country...
