What part/s of Australia would you most want to explore ?

If money and time weren't a limitation, what part/s of Australia would you most like to explore in your Nissan Patrol (compared to other places you already have) and please separately say why, for each place named.

The Pilbara, Kimberley, The Cape and our Desert Country... Why?... cause I have been blessed enough in the last 40 plus years, military and civilian to have done pretty much everywhere else in Aus (and a few overseas) and I can unequivocally say that this is THE best country on the Planet but us Aussies already know that... just need the odd reminder every now and then... it's why we are so parochial.

I even love the capital cities (in very small doses) but out in the country there is somewhere 'special' around just about every turn in the road if you take the time to ask a local...

Flown over a lot of stuff up North WA and the Centre but yet to drive it, working on it tho, each holiday knocks over another bit more and been to the Cape by boat so i've been to all the mainland extremities and working on the last more extreme bits of Tassie (been there about 6 times now).

Over the years I've driven almost every road in NT, QLD, NSW, and a goodly amount of Vic and a lot of SA east of the Stuart Hwy.

I reckon all Australians should have to do 12 months in an overseas country just to give everyone a real sense of how bl00dy lucky we are Flood, Fire, Drought included. It's sad at the time of a calamity especially at the moment but it is what the Country is... and it makes us what we are... one in all in for ya Mates.

I would have to say the the south east corner of WA. Israelite Bay..... Cape Arid.... Love a place where you can drive for a week and not meet a single sole....Catch fish... Have Fires......4WD.... and enjoy life..

I would like to slowly go to each border meeting points first, and take in points of interset along the way. Then travel the whole of Oz's coast line as close to the shore as I can get. Then I would ferry to Tassy and see it. After there I would spend time in ACT to visit all the museums. I would take in Norfolk, Straddie, Moreton, and christmas Is. Any others that can be travelled. I would do these as I prefer outback and country type trips.

After doing years of great escape raod trips, I then do all thet expensive touristy and culture destinations.This is just to satisfy my closet refined personality.

If won Big lotto, I would do all the charity bashses every year, as it's a good way to see Oz and meet locals in their community.
