I own a 1996 GQ RX 2800 Turbo Diesel with snorkel, steel bull bar and 12,000 lb winch. I usually drive between home and the railway station these days as the last couple of times I headed off road I found that the National Parks Service had put steel gates up on all my favourite tracks. Keeps me out but does nothing to stop the trail bike riders who just ride around the gates and go rip up all the flora. I have started to think about heading for the State forests when I do next get to go off road.

Thanks for quick and warm welcome. I look forward to hearing about where we can still go off road in NSW around Sydney and South Coast. I have an off road camper trailer, kayak and a metal detector so if anyone with the same interests can give me some tips for traveling I would be pleased.
