I have a 2004 ZD30DDT Nissan Patrol. The assist return spring on the clutch pedal snapped,I have looked at replacing it but cannot see an easy way to do this.Is there an easy way to do this that I have overlooked?.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Hodgiema.

G'day Hodgy and welcome,
like the man says a bit of info and maybe something on your personal profile page is of interest to us all.
I've only got the vaguest recollection of replacing that spring and I'm not even sure it was on a troll. From memory it wasn't the most difficult job you'll try but access was a total mongrel. Twisting yourself to get up into position was a bugger if I remember.
Sorry I can't do more for you but the manual diagram I've got only tells you how to adjust the pedal not how to fix your prob. and I reckon you'll have to remove the pedal from the pivot pin/bolt.
May not be a bad idea if you can to have a look at someone elses unbusted item if you're not sure of positions.
With luck an easy answer may be forthcoming.
Luck,
Col
