Hi there, I'm currently rebuilding an RD28T engine (1996). After some time awaiting various machine jobs at the engine re-conditioners I find many parts ready to be returned to the block.
On reading through the workshop manual many times, I cant find a reference as to which way the conrods are to be facing when place into their respective positions. One side of the Conrod has a Nissan symbol with alphanumeric code . 9(Nissan Symbol)34J2 or 9(Nissan Symbol)34J1.
This is either on the Front or Back side. I also note that the Big End has a larger Chamfer on one side compared to the other.
Any help appreciated
