Possible faulty sensor

Not too sure where to put this.
So I went fourwheeling recently at blacksmiths and I tripped a sensor this has happened before. but disappeared before I could find the problem. Now the problem is it won't go past 40kmh in 2nd which is crawl home mode

The car is a gu3 auto.
Any ideas what it could be sorry for being very low on details

It's gone into limp mode, you may be able to clear it by disconnecting the battery overnight as it resets the computer but you need to get it on a scanner to find out what's tripping the sensor.

Have you just fitted a larger exhaust or blocked the EGR at all

Turn it off, wait for a few seconds and turn it back on - a minor fault will rectify itself and you will be back at full power.

i've disconnected it and will leave it unplugged over night.
and threedogs. no i have the standard exhaust and egr is unblocked.
