Can you please direct us in the right direction,
Had the fuel pump reconditioned but timing marks are set up on bottom dead center, with keyway on crank set at 6 O'clock
Mechanic said to set it a top dead center with keyway on crank set at 12 o'clock, but when setting crank with cam at that position valves hit the pistons.
Can only get them free at bottom dead center,a s this stage fuel pump is still out of engine as fuel pump is set a top dead center ready to be installed but have been unable to set engine as per mechanics. Any advice or diagrams will be appreciated

Are you on auto pilot again Mick!!!!????? Lol

Hello Bernadette, can't answer your question coz I don't have a GU Rd28....... hopefully Roofy will have the answer in that Gregories manual of his. Reckon you could do well to have a copy for yourself and the quickest way to do that is to go and welcome a few new members in the intros threads, youll get your 25 posts in no time ;):D

Happy trolling
