Hi all
Im quite new to this but I have just brought a Nissan GU ST-S 2005
127kms
Its mint and I love driving it.
I look forward to asking some questions.
I do need some help with the central locking with remotes. Any help would be much appreciated as I can unlock it with the remote but it wont lock.
Thanks in advance

Welcome Grant,
Congrats on the purchase, and I hope it gets you lots of places.
Do you have two remotes, or only just the one?

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

I have 2 remotes.
I did some googleing and found a thing about locking the drivers door from the inside and then pushing key in and out 6 times etc.
It will now unlocj the beast but nit lock it.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum mate.
Have a look at the inside contact of the key.... mine was doing the same thing... had a broken contact.

Ummm, that makes it unlikely that both remotes are broken, but it is still a possibility.
There is the main Central Locking Control Relay up inside the centre of the dash on the passenger side, between the radio and the passenger airbag, which may also be a possibility.
On the older Series I to III. the remote seemed to work better if you held it up higher......

Hello and welcome to the forum, There was a thread recently on remote control functions
have a search.
When I brought a replacement remote the service manager used the ignition to learn new code,
like you said in and out about 6 times.
