G'day Gents,
When I removed the sender unit one of the wires had come off and I am unsure where it came from(never worked since I bought it). I tried but all that I achieved was the fuel light stayed on. There is 3 wired on top a yellow, yellow blue trace and black(the earth?). To add to the confusion a new sender has 5 wires? I'm just guessing that the sender has been replaced with a non EFI type. If anyone can shed some nohow on this it would be awesome.

Never mind by the looks of it the circuit slide level thinga is worn out so I will just get a new one.

The yellow with a blue wire is for the low fuel warning light. It should connect to the round metal silver cylinder shown in your second photo (top right).

The yellow wire is for your fuel gauge. If you touch the yellow wire onto ground with the ignition on the fuel gauge should read full. This wire connects to the variable resistor that is adjusted by the float.

The black wire is an earth and just connects straight to the metal plate.
