Idle. Problem?

Hi all. this morning I started my 02 42TD ute to move around corner for work and when I pulled up its idle was at almost stalling speed. I gave it a rev a nd it was fine. Went for a blast up road and back and it didnt repeat. It had all filters done about 1200km ago. I just got a lote nervous as I work very remote.

Any ideas?

Maybe there is dust on the linkages , remove engine cover and squirt some CRC or WD40
in the throttle linkages, if that somes right

Ended up being top seal on injector pump. All fixed now and back in the dirt for another week.
