Hi fella's
Time to introduce myself I spose.
Name is Al (Alan) and I live in Beechworth, Nth East Vic after making the the move up from outer Melbourne (Kinglake/St Andrews) 17 years ago.
Not long after making the move I did a forestry course in logging/chainsaw and ran forwarders and harvesters in the pine and blue gum plantations and did a stint in the burnt hardwood after the fires through Buxton/Marysville. After I'd had enough of the internal politics of logging I started my own business in FTA antenna and satellite. I currently do the internet satellite for the NBN. I'm loving this as it takes me to some beaut places throughout Nth East Vic and as far south as Woods Point/Aberfeldy etc.
Other forums I frequent apart from 4WD forums are ADVRider as I have a R1150GS Beemer set up for getting away camping etc, Arboristsite as I was a pretty full on chainsaw modifier/porter (yep you read right, lol!) and a caravan forum as I've been do up/modifying a van for dirt roads etc.
I have two Patrols. A '93 GQ RX 4.2 petrol wagon with turbo which I'm going to sell.
A GU coil cab ute SII which I use also for work.
