Gents (and ladies if any), Nissan is something close to my heart so its a pleasure finding another community such as this and joining !!!
I'm a distant, literally, Nissan family member but internet comes in handy =)

Not so much into rocks and dirt but sand is a weekly activity out here. Here's some of my previous Patrols (not sure why I sold them to be honest, probably one of those "stupid" moments ...) and my current one (white swb).

They are interesting photos being overseas models.

In the first photo (Y61 Wagon) the towbar mount is something you wont see in Australia. Is that car a petrol manual, it has the H260 rear diff?
In the last photo (the Y60 shorty), we never got fuel injected shorty's here. Also interesting seeing underneath a LH drive Patrol. The panhard rods pivot from the LH chassis rail where all our RH drive Patrols pivot from the RHS.

Tony

Just noticed the radio aerials are on the opposite side too.

I like your "noticing" skills =)

Yea its a 4.8 manual gearbox, that's why the 260 rear diff, autos came with the 233. We hardly have any diesels here so all petrol versions.
The tow bar mount is my own, it had a standard pintle otherwise.
The fuel injected Y60s came in here in 94 + years and then went back to carburetors on 98 - 2002 shorties (4.5 carbs), I had both and I somehow like the injected model better.

G'day mate - welcome aboard and great introduction and shots - you are obviously a sultan or something having that many patrols on hand!!!! LOL. Plenty of useful information, heaps of great people, and a good laugh to be had also on the forum, so feel free to get amongst the conversations and make the most of it. Would love to see some more shots of the terrain you play in over there if you get the chance. Love the shorty in flight shot too ... very nice !!!
