The tyre cleaner at the commercial car washes is good stuff.

Pressure wash, get off the lumps.
Scrubbing brush with truck wash.
Sponge with dish washing detergent.
Tyre shine from Supercheep.

Works for me

Ct18 would get alot off or put them on and go for a drive on a beach:icon_driving:, have a good day out and sand blast it all off ! Well that's what I'd do... Then maybe Get the missus to clean the spare? Lol

Soak them good with warm water and Ct18, let it sit on tyres for a while, then rinse off.
Then apply sillicone spray for that new tyre look.

Pressure wash, Then I use CT18 on them let it sit on there overnight, wash it off the next day then some nice tyre shine :)

If it doesn't all come off 1st time, I repeat!

Cheers,
Eric.

I use CT18 and scrub them with a brush. Then after that I spray them with CRC So Easy. This stuff foams up and pulls out the remaining dirt in the rubber leaving a nice shiny and black tyre.

I have a still bristle brush, which I use when I have finished washing the rest of the car, and then apply CRC So Easy when the tyres have dried.

@ Mudski don't think I'd like to spray my tyres with CRC, is it compatible with rubber?
I'd think it would de grade rubber, but good old Hot soapy water and K-Mart tyre shine.
after first going to the car wash.
