86 SWB Patrol

Hi Yall

Just about to buy an 86 petrol eng patrol privately - cheap as i have now lost my job. Could any1 tell me what i should mostly check for as i know its old but for $1500 who cares if it isnt in best condition:clapping:

gday Nathan and welcome aboard mate.......................... I'd be checking for lots and lots of rust, condition of oil and water, Colour of smoke out of the exhaust. For $1500 it isn't gonna be pretty
