Has it gone into limp mode. And you say no EcCU faults.

You didn't blow a boost hose did you? Check all hoses and clamps for leaks. Blowing heaps of smoke? How much is heaps? Like really noticeable? Or just more than before it seems heaps?
As when you have a boost leak the engine will over fuel causing it to smoke and run like poo. Lets hope it hasn't dropped the pin on the grenade.

18 way too high continually for these motors . mine is between 10 - 13 psi most of the time under load and peaks at 17 quickly if pushed hard. no limp issues with mine .

Is your EGR valve blocked and have you plumbed up your dawes with or without the vacuum control solonoid connected ?

Check its not over fuelling. A mate had the same issue with his ZD, went and got the pump re-timed and was good as gold.

Im thinking you have popped a boost hose ,,,,,,,see blue hose in picture
You'll need to remove engine cover to check

I asked the guys at mtq they think that still wouldn't make it not have any throttle response

Having a blown boost hose? If so I disagree. I blew off a boost hose and the car didn't want to move. Blew a ton of smoke too.
What I would do is and in order...
Check all boost hoses for cracks or splits, also tighten up all clamps
wind the dawes back
Remove the IC and check for leaks.
If the above three fail to work, get a compression test.
Cheers.

How do i check the ic ???
I had a comp test done a while ago before i had this prob and they said i only had 400 in 1st 390in 2nd 50 kn 3rd 150in 4th dont. Think that was right as the car ran fine lil bit smoky tho

Your comp is all over the place IMO
To check the ic remove from Patrol tape one end closed and pump a small amount of air in dipping it in small basin of water.
you wont need much pressure so go easy, it will bubble where it leaking. be sure you dry it properly before re-installing it.
A hair dryer helps here.
Also have you tried disconnecting the battery for half and hour.
My take on this is you have increased the boost, gone for a drive now no power.!!
this to me sounds like you have gone into overboost or limp mode. disconnecting the battery may re-set it
If not a trip to Mr Nissan may be in order to reset any errors in the diagnostics.
Highly recommend fitting NADS starting with Boost and EGT gauges.
Bear in mind these motors don't like heaps of boost maybe 15psi tops.
Have a read of Chaz Yellowfoot articles in the archives on the ZD30 motor

Yeah im only running 15psi now
When it was at mtq they had a look at the computer and it didnt log any codes so i guess it didnt hit safe mode i have to re-insatll my injection pump as they took it out to test but refused to refit so ill do that tomorrow n see how she goes hope i can fix it i have a engine im currently rebuilding but its along way from being put in yet

I had a new pump installed at a cost of $4000 about 2 weeks before that a mate done for me that tested perfect when the striped it
They said they wouldn't re install it because there looked like there were bent valves how they could tell this j dont know as the head was not removed or was the manifolds
Could it b a burnt valve or valve stem seals leaking i pulled of the intake and the ports on 123 were coverd in oil

Did it come up on the diagnostic tool when it was plugged in how did ya clear it they didnt find any codes except a tdc pulse faill that they could not explain as all the sensors were replaced ??
