Not sure about the length of the roof but I reckon 1800mm would be that max length cage rack you could use, otherwise it would just overhang

Most of the cages should say which vehicle they are suited to?

So far the only cages I've been able to find come in a few Landcruiser sizes and a generic universal cage. Thank that would be good if you could give me the rack measurements, still considering the RTT though. Does it throw the centre of gravity off much? Seems like might, may have to go a swag.

It is a GQ, probably should have mentioned that!

ok so sizes are 1960 x 1340 x 180 high see attached pics for design. i have a feeling its off a pajero but im not sure.

also ive had it loaded up with a swag, 3xpetrol bottles and a water tank. also the black tube on the side holds 17 ltrs of water. no dramas there.

Oh cool thanks for that! That should help heaps, having a bit of trouble finding suitable roof cages.

You wouldn't happen to know what the weight limit is of the gutters?

sorry mate no idea. TBH you wouldnt wanna load much more than 200kgs on the roof anyway! your really raising your center of gravity the more weight you put up there

It's more for damage. I mean most RTT I've seen say that they are 50-60kgs and then I'm 94kg, girls probably 50ish kg. Take the max weight of that you've got over 200kgs right there

Do RTTs throw of the centre of gravity much?

I believe its around the 100kg mark (well for the LWB anyway), there is a thread in here somewhere that goes into a bit more depth. But you should try and keep the weight to a minimum.
