Hi,
I have a GU 3.0L Diesel with a bad oil leak, which from the research I have done, and what I can see on the motor, appears to be from the around the Injectors.
Is there anything I should look out for before attempting to fix the leaks?

Cheers.

Hello Robg and welcome . Pop over to the intro section and tell us a bit about yourself and alot about your 4B . Is it a DI engine or CRD ? I know the DI have a round rubber grommet thingy around the injectors and rocker cover and they may leak there . goodluck .

Are you sure it's not from the intercooler.

Rob,

Shouldn't have engine oil leaking from around the injector - maybe diesel, but you should know the difference as engine oil will be black, and diesel will be a light colour.

If it is a bad leak, I would say it has to be something else. Pull the engine cover off to take a good look.

It could be the glow plug seals, but I wasn't aware that you could have engine oils leaks from the injectors ... have to check the manual ...
