Hey everyone,
My wife and I have been living in Kenya for about 7 months now. Several of those months were spent looking for a reliable vehicle for up north, where there are no paved roads and a pretty sturdy vehicle is needed. After test-driving a few different models of LandCruiser, we finally came across a 1990 Nissan Safari (Patrol) in unbelievable (for its age) shape. We love it. It's a beast. We're thrilled to bring it up north as our first vehicle here.
I'm looking forward to learning so much through this forum and for many years of driving this vehicle.

Welcome to the forum mate. Is that the Safari that has the high roof? If so, still lots of that model in NZ. Not sure how many here in WA as haven't seen many.

Welcome along Safari, I've never been to Kenya, but loved the parts of Africa I visited.
