Taslucas,

Good you come up with a design for the "NissanPatrol forum 2015 Anzac/Gallipoli Cape York Tour!" sticker and a price please!

Keep the theme on The Gallipoli Campaign, as this is the 100 year since those brave Anzac's who fought and died for this great nation! Between 25th April 1915 and 9th January 1916, during World War I. The following casualties occurred!

Dead Wounded Total Causalities

Turkish 56,643 107,007 174,828

United Kingdom 34,072 78,520 119,696

France 9,798 17,371 27,169

Australia 8,709 19,441 28,150

New Zealand 2,721 4,752 7,473

Indian 1,358 3,421 4,779

Canadian 49 93 142

Our Legacy

Folks, it is said that the significance of the Gallipoli Campaign is felt strongly in both Australia and New Zealand. We know that the campaign is referred to as both nations' "baptism of fire" those brave and courageous soldiers that fought during the Gallipoli campaign, which we know as become embodied in the notion of our "Anzac spirit".

Thats one of the main reasons i am doing a pilgrimage to Cape York in 2015, as i am unable to attend the Gallipoli Anzac day ceremonial at Anzac cove in 2015.

Taslucas, if you could come-up with something tasteful and respectful for the occasion would be fantastic.

RLI

G'day Lounge Lizards!

Folks, here is the chance for all of you to come up with a 2015 sticker design! After all, it is your "trip to the Cape" and your families and your nations history!

I will give the winning design a slab of beer/wine or if it is a child that wins the design a money voucher for $50.00.

PS, You have 18 months to come up with a design! Good luck!

RLI

The heroics of all allied troops in both world wars are held in high regard over here as well mate.

To the thousands upon thousands who lay down their lives for their countries in that senseless First world war, to the equally brave men and women, who stood up to tyranny and terror during the second world war. You will never be forgotten nor will your valour and ultimate sacrifice be wasted.

G'day Fracster,

The mighty Selous Scouts "Pamwe Chete"! is Shona (language) means "Together only" or All together! There standard rests-up in the British SAS officers mess. I had the honour of meeting LT Col Ron Reid-Daly the founder of that great unit in 1979!
