Custom Dog Cage GU Wagon

G'day folks.
About to get a quote for a custom dog cage for the back of my 08 dx wagon.

The cage is only going to use half the width of the boot and should fit 1 or 2 dogs comfortably.
The design will ideally confirm with the shape of the car in order to maximise use if avail space. (Not just a big square box)

1. Has anyone else ever put together something similar for a gu wagon?

2. How much would the shape of an 08 Gu dx boot differ from other models and years? - I could factor in some margin for variance in to the design.

3. Is anyone interested in participating in a group gu wagon dog cage buy?

Ps. Unsure if this is the best spot for this topic. Please feel free to point me in the right direction if another category is better suited.

Jeeeeeeez, that thread went down like a lead balloon didn't it.
Not a dog man anymore and I certainly don't want to go the funny lines which include the other, softer sex cause they always get me in trouble. Hell, life is cruel sometimes, isn't it?
Anyway, got to say, with the effort you're putting in, that's one lucky man's best friend you've got there.

Most people would just put a cargo barrier rather than a dog box

You could get a custom cargo barrier built with a second part attached to the middle on a hinge to swing out and lock in place as a divider of the boot .then when not needed its just a cargo barrier
