hi everyone...just joined the site
I have a heater leaking heater core in a GU patrol. i have been told that the airconditioning has to be degassed as part of the process. Is this true?

Hi, have a search of the site, somewhere there is a pictorial account in a post of what was required to get at the heater core. Not for the faint hearted, the complete dash had to be removed as I recall.
You may also get a better response from the community here if you introduce yourself first.

My son is helping who is an apprentice mechanic. he was told it would need A/C degassing but i thought I would check if there was an alternative
