Td42 build up

Hey I've decided to do the td42t conversion to my zd30, I've started sorting the parts, I will be putting a well detailed thread up with lots of pics and info once I'm done! I'm trying to source a motor that needs rebuild, and do a full rebuild, the td42t motors are hard to come across! One question is can u rebuild a td42 into a turbo spec or strong enough for 150kw and good reliability? The td42 non turbo are a little more available! I will be using a worked fuel pump and td05 16g large turbo from ufi with large top mount intercooler

Yes you can build em strong. A non turbo will be fine if your doing a full rebuild anyway. If you can find a Silver top non turbo ready to rebuild and your on a winner.

Hay mate. Good luck with the conversion. Check out the boys 200kw club thread. These motors are built proof.

A good 3 Litre puts out over 140.Kw with a chip.....

Why go to all the expense for a couple more, when you could get that with an exhaust and IC upgrade.
