Hello,

our local dealer never heard about it and even me until i accidentally seen it at ebay:

so eager to know more about that and if possible to install it on my car (Y61 GU Safari 2012) if so any advice about the genuine lead.

i heard that can reflect my petrol consumption since i got out with the following result:

in town drive consumption with AC and 60 letters of RON95 Petrol = 260KM (2500to3000 average RPM) and 290KM for the same amount if no AC.

free way drive consumption with AC and 60 letters of RON95 Petrol = 310KM (2500to3000 average RPM) and 340KM for the same amount if no AC.

What exactly are you asking mate? Those hubs will go on your car. But why do you want them? Your fuel consumption will remain unchanged, and for a 4.8L power machine you are getting pretty good consumption!

When they are in "auto" you will be driving in 2WD, unless you change to 4H or 4L then all 4 wheels will be driving, Only advantage you have is that you can engage 4wd without getting out of the car, but the auto ones can unlock, so when I go out driving I manually lock mine.

logically they designed them to keep the axle's free assuming that will subject to petrol consumption, though using my car during week days on free ways make them free sense.

1050 UAE dirhams after 50% discount (287U$) for each

Mate if you have auto hubs then just use your wheel brace to change them from Auto to Lock when Offroad.

If you have auto hubs there is Zero advantage changing them to freewheeling hubs in your environment.

If yours are not broken or disengaging while under stress then save your cash.

Same as above, no point changing if they work in manual lock

Mauz doesn't have hubs like ours...see first pic...they are direct drive or hubs with no access to the locking mechanism.

I guess they are like a hub fixed in Auto

after installing my genuine manual free running hub am surprised that my steering system get lighter about 8% and i don't even have an technical answer for that, that's make me happy anyway

( I thought you guys were lucky in that fuel is nearly free ....... cheap as chips ).

its more than two month now and no result i wish there will be a reply about this thread so we will know if it is any good to install this hubs or look some where els to improve the fuel consumption
