G'day,
I have recently bought a GU Ute that has a broken internal a/c fan resistor and I am looking to replace it. I have taken out the resistor to get the part number off it but when I had it out there were two sets of numbers one on either side and I was wondering whether any one could confirm which one is correct?
so the two number I have got are: 3T600 1326, and 1313E36
thanks in advance,
dwayne

Hi Dwayne
Probable none of them are Nissan Part numbers considering when you type them into goggle you don't get any hits nissan related
Not knowing the GU's is this what your after: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-HEATER-AIRCON-FAN-MOTOR-RESISTOR-CARD-Y61-GU-PATROL-N14-PULSAR-/321043454766
If link doesn't work copy and past this into ebays search:321043454766

Hi Toddie,
I had a look tried to google them also before I posted and had no luck either so I thought I would try here for a bit more info.
I have seen them on eBay but I was not sure whether it was the right one as there was no Part Number listed on eBay. Might just buy and see if it works and then I will let every one know for future reference.
Thanks
Dwayne

Hi Dwayne, what are your symptoms? a faulty resistor will only stop fan speeds 1,2&3. Fan speed 4 should still work.
If the resistor is faulty check your interior fan motor. Make sure it spins freely and is not binding, this can cause the resistor to burn out.

Okay thanks Todd will give him a call.
Also Yendor yes those are my symptoms. I have pulled the fan motor out and given it a spin, I wouldn't say it spins freely as there feels like there is a bit of resistance but it is consistent, i.e. there are no spots on the rotation that are harder than the rest. But I have nothing to compare to so not sure it this is correct.
thanks for the replies
Dwayne
