HI all, Stripping the compressor and air tank [5gal] out of my old 4x4, Just wondering where's the best place to mount it, Its a Big Black Pump for those familiar with compressors, Its pumps too well not to re-use it. Thinking maybe beside the rl passenger seat. Probably too big for under the Bonnet plus it has thermal cut out switch fitted. Does anyone else have or use a Big Black Pump???? Making up some "U" bolts later to fix tank to chassis.

That's what they were marketed as its their Name, Big Balls used to sell them years ago , they are called the "Big Black Pump".
They do not let up when you start reaching Pressure. awesome pump,
Surely you've heard of them, maybe MR has for sure

Yeah I run a "Big One" pump in the GQ and have it mounted to a bracket in a box on the right side rear wheel arch. Fits nice there.

Thanks MR I'll see what I can come up with, really never heard of the big black pump go figure lol
Seeing as I'll be pumping to a tank I might mount it up high in that cargo shelf I'm making.

3dogs,

Can you put up a picture of this thing to satisfy some curiosities, did a google seach for "big black pump" and the results were interesting to say the least(note to self: go back to that search when the kids are in bed).
