Hi guys,

Quick one, I have got the thing in pieces doing some repairs to the fuel system so I thought I would try and do the EGR block at the same time while its all apart and easy to get to but I wanted to check where the plate goes.
I beleive that it was to go on the engine side but the plate I have doesnt match up to the bolts holes.
Please have a look at the pics!

Engine side where I thought the plate goes and the gasket came out of.

Back end of the EGR plumbing, looks like the bolts holes might line up here.

Any help, greatly appreciated!!

You have the right spot, looks like your plate is wrong. Is it definitely for a crd zd30? I would just use gasket as template to re-drill the holes

Just mark [scribe] the plate then file to suit. Clean your IC as well if its oily.

Check the other end of the pipe mate. Exhaust end. I have the plates made for the intake end anyway. Just pm me your addy and I'll send ya one. That plate you have is more common on the CRD 3.0L Navara's. Very few Patrols used this one.
Also the new plate I'll send ya goes where the EGR pipe meets the EGR. Second pic in your post.. But I suppose you could put it closer to the engine. May not matter...But I would go before the EGR itself....
