gu snorkel are they the same

hi guys I have a 98 4.5 gu and have been offered a snorkel from a 3L 07 will it bolt straight on or with a little modding ? or are they completely different ? cheers in advance

Air cleaner on the 3ltr is front passenger side
'97 to 04 are the same, might be out of luck

The airbox is different between the 3ltr and the 4.5 but you might be able to fit the snorkel, the only problem i could see is it you arial interferes. You would have to look at an 07 model to compare back to yours.

If your getting the snorkel free. Either sell it get one that fits. I seen a few cheap ones on ebay that go for 100something bux

Or you could try mark out a cardboards template. cut out the holes. Mark antenna position. (on the cardboard) See if ot could fit.

Only slight problem i see. The inner guard piping mite not line up. You could always mod one up using flexi air intake tubing and large hose clamps
