Hi all,
I actually dont own a patrol, I own a hilux. But I do own an offroad buggy (racecar) with a VQ35 from a 350z in it.
The reason I registered here was because we run a GQ bearing and spindle and spun up our own hubs to fit over it.
Dropped in the intro to say thanx for the help! You guys are alright! haha. :)
and pleeease dont hassle me too much about the hilux... haha.

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

oh, and Im in western sydney, blacktown way, but race all over the country. Next race is in a week and a half in Goondiwindi QLD, then Millicent SA a month after.
Offroad racing has production and modified 4WD classes - dominated by Mitsubishi's at the top end... Lots of patrols with Chevy LS1's in them. The production suspension with a midmount LS1 is hilarious to watch - they fall over alot. haha

Good luck bud.
Won't give you crap about the hilux, why would I? When you needed a tough part for you race car you chose a Nissan Front end for a reason ;)

Yeah - the hilux does ok, most of the time I love the thing and dont really take it offroad except for track reconnaissance, but it doesn't tow racecar, spares, tools and camping gear too well... Need more engine! Ive got a mate with GU (who races a hilux! haha) and he just dissapears away from me on the road. But I whoop his arse on track. :) haha
