Nah haven't used them but just about to do the same, but first going to apply that silver foil sound deadener.
Plus its a heat shield as well. What price did you get quoted ? and are you getting the lot done or just the front??
try tru-fitcarpets free call 1800 335 896 they have the lot pre moulded to suit

I'm tempted to do exactly the same as 3D, but I want to make sure that the cabin is perfectly water tight, because the last thing I want to do is put the silver sound deadener down and find that it traps water in certain spots, creating rust that's hidden by the sound deadener.

@ Parksy should start another thread but that silver stuff is applied by roller, so thinking must have sticky back to it.
Also going to shove some acoustic batts in the 1/4 panel cavity, boy does that make a difference,
but like you said you don't want to trap water but has to be better than having underlay

3D I think it's about 200 - 250 delivered, but that's only for the 2 front sections not the rear.

Yep, worth giving tru-fit a call. I think they may be cheaper than 200. Not sure if that's because the product is cheaper though. Have a search on here, theres a few mentions of different sound deadening/insulation ideas.
