There is no switch for them mate. You are not confusing these auto hubs for diff locks are you?
They automatically engage so there is no switch for them. Put it in 4WD and away you go.

Dont rely on the auto hubs in steep hill climbs and desents
you can alaso lock them in with the wheel brace

That switch is for your Auto......
The pictures of the hubs are for your auto or manually locked hubs. Manual means they are always locked for drive to the front wheels when you are in 4x4 and they can't accidentally disengage, and Auto means they will automatically lock when you are in 4x4, but if you reverse, they can unlock.

Cheers , the switch must be related to the Auto box in the Patrol, my Auto Maverick does not have this switch.

Autos have their place, and when flicked to the lock position are the same as manual hubs.
It's only the auto function which is the weak point. If you flick to lock before doing propper Off roading you'll have no issues..

Get AVM branded hubs if you do. Better and stronger.

I replaced my factory auto hubs because they weren't doing the right thing.
I have replaced with AVM manual hubs. Love them.

How hard is it to change to AVM manual hubs, and how much do they cost to buy,
Cheers.
