HI all, my name is Pete and I live in the beautiful Huon Valley in Tasmania. I have just bought my first real 4WD, a Nissan Patrol 3lt Turbo Diesel GU 2004, in mint condition. The lady I bought it from had it from new and it has only done 110, 000 klms. Well serviced every
5000klms. A BEAUTY, as well as plastic all over the seats and dash from day dot.

I am a newby at this whole 4WD driving thing as well as the fact the I have not driven or owned a Diesel car before. So I am open to any info or advice that any one can offer.

Gday Pete, welcome aboard mate. Sounds like a nice clean patrol ya got yourself there. Not sure if it's applicable for the 2004 models, but you might want to do a search for NADS. It's a system designed to help get longevity out of the zd30 engines. Happy driving:-)
