Hey everyone, new to the forum and patrols, just upgraded to a 88 td42 maverick from a 97 discovery, only had the rig for a couple of days, planning on giving it a birthday over the next week, any thing I shoukd inspect or treat as a priority. Cheers in advance

Welcome to the forum mate and congrats on the new beast. Definitely an upgrade with a td42 from the little disco mate!

I would start fresh and change all the oils and then you know it's all done and can maintain it from there.

They are a very robust engine mate. Look up "what to keep my eyes on, preventative maintenance". One of our members did a huge write up about looking after them and what to look for, etc.

Ask any questions in other sections too mate as a lot of people don't read the intros and you might get answers missed.
