be very careful what company you choose to replace your windscreen, last Monday had a well known company replace my windscreen, but after about 1/2 hour of them leaving I found these!!!
sikaflex or similar on my newly recovered steering wheel.

some cleaning residue which after I polished it off has stained the dash.

and ive saved the best for last,a deep scratch(through the primer)where the roof meets the windscreen about 200mm long!

and after taking the wagon into them 1 week after the damage was done(they were contacted the same day) the managers "professional" opinion was that the scratch was pre existing because it had started to rust ,obviously with the car getting 3" of rain being dumped on the roof over the last week bare metal will start to rust!! so its in the hands of the insurance company now.

That sucks !! Was it one of those mobile repairers. I had bad experience with one that was rushing a re-seal rear glass job. He was rushing and scratched/scraped my paint. It ended up bubbling and rusting on my lexus.

That is shocking, I think I'd key the managers car and rub some salt in it...
I've never had a windscreen replaced without an issue, 3 times leaking and one fella even spilling an enamel white primer on our driveway And he had no turps/ acetone and forgot his wallet at home and asked if I could go buy him some wtf

bit of an update, shannons insurance have been great, full re-spray on the roof & dash repaired, body works had to remove the new screen to do job and found that o*****s hadn't cleaned under the rubber seal prior to installing the new screen and to top things off they could see daylight between the screen and the body where they hadn't glued properly, very dodgy!!! my advice, stay clear of o*****s glass!!!

I had dramas with the same mob when they did a windscreen on my old car. Left huge ripples in the vinyl around the windscreen, a leaf was stuck between the body and the windscreen and sikaflex not cleaned up in quite a few spots.

Motorculture... Let's try this again!
