I agree although I have a GU I still have fond memoriies of my G Q's

Ha Ha i though you would all say that. I have a 1999 rd28 chipped, goes not bad pulls my 4.5ton boat at 100 good at night nice and cool.

Isn't that a bit over the legal towing capacity of your Patrol?

Have a 98 GU myself, RD28T, wouldnt mind chipping it as well,
Hear lots of stories, so whats you opinion on power gain after chipping?????

Pritty good. if i remeber rightly it was 252nm standard and it lifted it up to 299nm, you can realy notice it toeing, and i got a extra 80 klm per tank.

G'day mate - welcome aboard. (sorry for the copy and paste introduction, but been away for over a week and a lot of catching up to do!!! LOL). As you've no doubt noticed, heaps of useful information, great people and a good laugh to be had on the forum so make the most of it and get amongst the conversations. Don't forget to throw a few happy snaps of the rig up in the members ride section - we never get bored of looking at them!!!

On the note of the 2011 (new model) - I don't think Nissan could have done too much more to make an uglier looking car - with independent suspension to boot!!!! They are obviously serious about the Aussie 4WD market!!!! ... my two cents worth over now ... lol ....

yes me to iam back at work and can talk to you all again, you now what they say you go back to work for a rest. Anyway i agree could have been a lot more eye turning.
