Police are releasing him tomorrow (well planning to) to the insurance company. The investigations dept at AAMI phoned me this afternoon not more than 5 mins after the police left. So everything is in the process now

When I went down to see him it was like I was identifying a body. The guys at the towing yard were awesome - even had a box of tissues for me

04OFF - Frank is actually an RX which appears to not have an immobiliser .. Key entry the old fashioned way by sticking it in the door. My 1 and only key was cut at Mr Minit

Don't worry the police covered that today ... I was a suspect with them until I produced the key & proved it had no electronic powers. They are convinced its this ahole family but he was burnt to a crisp so no evidence :(

Lesson learnt ?! Get a freeking alarm!!!

Insurance Excess was only $600 + $200 security bond on rental which ill get back ... Just posted my "life" to the insurance investigation dept. phone records, bank statements, loan contract, payout figure, Franks key etc .. So fingers crossed they won't take too long.

AAMI have actually been really helpful through all this & the police yesterday were kind but thorough.

Nope not a mark on them - my spare has never been used so had brand new tyre on it & only a few months ago I had to have 1 replaced cuz I smacked a gutter backwards in the wet ... So 3 tyres with 18mtjs use & 2 brand new ones. They were perolli (?) scorpions (all terrain)

I've lived in Ipswich for nearly ten years and thought it is overrated as a bit rough but every now and then you get reminded of the kind of skum that live here! We had an incident about six years ago when I was at my parents house just out od Ipswich in the country when my brother and myself were in the garage and mum was in the house that a local abbo broke into the house and stole mums handbag! well he didn't realise we were there and we came running after him you could just about see him SH*T himself!!! The car that was waiting for him nearly left without him and if I hadn't got caught on the barbed wire fence I would of had him. In a way that's lucky for me as most likely I would have been the one in trouble!

Dunno what it is like over there, but even if these type of scumbags get caught here, they get sentenced to pick litter up for a month or do some gardening in the local parks.There is no deterrent and it takes the pee out of people who work hard and save up for things.

We have the same light sentencing over here, we see people getting off all the time only to re-offend.

The Snr Constable that came to see me said more or less same thing. He'll go talk to em & try to poke around but they'll just tell him to "beep" off unless he has hard evidence which they don't cuz of condition Frank was found in.

I'm a freeking girl for sure - had an emotional moment again today when I sent his key off to the insurance company ... Luckily I have truck load of pics of my baby and I only took the 2 of him destroyed.
