Just wondering if anyone could give me a heads up as to any issues with common rail zd30 engines doing injectors? After I bought mine I've heard a few people saying the injectors **** themselves at around 100000, has anyone had this issue? If so is there any way to avoid it or is it just to be expected?

Thanks

I think one of the main problems with injectors is water contamination. be wary of dodgy fuel outlets, drain water trap regularly.

I 've done 195k and only the last few tankfulls been putting WYNNES injector cleaning fluid in the tank.
I have had no issues touch wood, lol

Matty,
I'd go with June & 3dogs. Mine's done about 160K with no sign of injector trouble. Standard procedure, regular filter (all) mainternance and you'll be O.K.
Well, should be anyway

No worries fellas, thanks for the advice, she's gonna be serviced every 5000, water trap drained weekly regardless, sub tank will be full 24/7 (for the majority of its time anyway), the amount of k's I'm doing main tank is basically cycled to an 1/8th of a tank and refilled 100% weekly, so hopefully condensation shouldn't be a problem, and all my fuel 99% of the time comes from a brand new BP, so I should be pretty well right! I just wasn't sure if it was just "one of those things" or just lack of maintenance...

Again thanks fellas,
Matt
