going to have a look at a set of arb air lockers for my gu front and rear still in the housing.asking 2k the lot. sounds ok any tips on what to look for or what to check?

Are they selling complete axle housings or just the removable centre? If they are complete housings make sure they are from a GU and not a GQ, GU hounsings are longer/wider track.
Also check the ratio as there were several different ratio's depending on vehicle spec.
There were also 2 different rear diffs availble in early GU's, most had the H220b (same size crown wheel as front diff) but some (4.5 petrol manual, 4.8 petrol manual, 3l diesel manual and leaf sprung ute) had the bigger H260, make sure you get the right one as they are not interchangable.
As for the lockers, look for damage to the copper pressure line (if the centres are out of the housings). Not much else you can check externally.
