So what was your last phone? Were there no contacts saved on the SIM or SD card?

I have a lot if old contacts on my SIM, all new ones these days save to the phone, and I didn't have time to transfer them to the SIM..

So are you using a new sim cards as well as new phone???

You should not need to transfer the numbers to the phone if they are on the sim

In your settings there should be an option for contacts to display

You can either have Phone Memory Only, Sim Only, or Both

Just change your setting to show both

Sounds like it is set to show only Phone

should keep your numbers backed up on your compute, mine are also save to my google account.

Sounds like it is set to show only Phone

That is correct, but the HTC saved all new numbers to the phone, not the SIM. So all the numbers I collected while here can only be recovered if the phone can be powered back up.

I'd did do that.. 14 months ago...:o
The HTC interface was very carp so I never bothered doing it often.
