No high beam icon in my dash!

Hi there, i recently brought a light bar to fit to my 05 gu and tried to tap into existing wiring and blew a light bulb(well i thought I did) and the high beam icon vanished from my dash, i just thought it was cause of the blown bulb i have since rewired the light bar to have nothing to do with the high/lo beam toggle and replaced the bulb, but the light still doesnt work and i still dont get the icon in my dash, so im stuck and have turned here for help please any information on what to do will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Stupid question as electrics are not my thing (there others on here for that) but is there a fuse for the high beam ??

My money would be on a fuse. Have a look in your fuse box, see if you have tripped it.

fuse is fine drivers side high/lo beam work fine just passengers side light where the previous owner had tapped into it an icon in dash

There are two fuses. One for the driver side light and one for the passenger side light.

The headlight fuses are in the fuse box under the bonnet.

was just discussing this with a family member he suggested same thing thank you very much ill go have a look now

i feel like an idiot now i just went through every fuse in cab no sticker on one fuse box cover so i just pulled every fuse and yep blown 15 amp fuse, thanks for the help! good to see everyones really friendly here.
