starter motor?

hey guys need some help diagnosing a problem. have just replaced my alternator and battery in my 4.2 diesel in the last couple of weeks and now im thinking my starter motor is rat shit. took a bit while to start than usual this morning, stopped and started another 2 times and now it wont crank, just clicking. connections to the starter seem sweet, gave em a clean up, so does it sound like im up for a new one? any help would be awesome. cheers grant

Possibly. Does the battery still have plenty of power? What is a bit to start, 20 seconds 5 min? Have you tried giving it a tap?

Grant,
stick with Newby. Reckon he's on the track. Good battery with a click but NO cranking over sounds like starter/solenoid problem.
