Sometimes when im driving my patrol I get it to roughly 2500 rpms and the engine stalls.
ive got a 2008 model GU common rail.
Just curious to what you think.
Could it be a sensor problem? or a problem with the computer

Was a similar problem not long ago and turned out to be brake light switch being faulty.
Was a common rail too from memory

would have thought that if it was a computer prob. you'd ahve got an error light on the dash, unless the computer was totally cactus in which case the lot would crash,,,,,maybe?
Threed's answer is a beauty. How the hell did you find that out mate??

@ Col.T,The brake light was telling ecu its stopping or slowing down and your drive by wire is telling ecu to excellerate. Think Yendor asked the member to check.
Could also be going into limp mode from overboosting. long distance diagnostics not my strong suit.

does it stall or sorta stop till you back off and press throttle again. that's over boosting or limp mode
