Bonnet frustration

Yea Gday all , My first post woo hoo ! I have installed a genuine nissan intercooler off a 2006 y61 GU Patrol 4.2TDi onto my 2001 y61 GU Patrol 4.2TD . I have just found that the bonnets are different . Does a UTE bonnet fit ? I need to have the hole in the correct location for the top mount . Does the 2.8 intercooled one match up ? any info would be great . I need one so if anybody has one please let me know ok ? CHEERS

I am about to do the same - can you not just cut it out? If you rip the bonnet lining off you can see where the intercooler cut out kind of is.

Yep you can . I have done it and its spot on . Just have to use some tube nuts on the front two studs because the steel lips isn't there . Easy ! good luck
