Hey all I've got a problem with my patrol being very gutless when it feels like I've had it at the doctors and they tell me it's fine but I know it's not just wondering if anyone knows anything that can help me . It's shown a maf code and injector timing code but new maf didn't solve it .engine light comes on at random times

You need to offer up as much information as possible... if you cant be bothered to tell us all the facts then you cant expect others to...

Need some more info, Is like that all the time ,does it happen only some times, hot or cold ,when just cruising along or accelerating like when overtaking, does it blow smoke if so what colour?
do you have a boost gauge?

Disconnect your battery for 1/2 hr or so and see if things improve after that,
You may not be creating any boost or a number of other things,.
Edit Change your fuel filter you may find its clogged often overlooked

It's not all the time and very random .just around town driving isn't too bad but if I get on the highway I have to constantly back off accelerator and reapply to get the revs to climb.engine light has been coming on ,sometimes after 1k and sometimes it won't come on after 100ks.have replaced all filters new maf sensor.does blow alittle smoke on startup no boost gauge and the smoke isn't very thick and it's sort of grey .driving up the highway doing 100ks the slightest bit of slope will make it go limp.and sometimes when I'm just struggling to keep it at 100ks all of a sudden ill be doing 140 .seems to go better when engine light is on?

Welcome mate. Not sure how deep you've read, but you've basically bought primo grenade'o..
First up, look up NADS. My guess is your over boosting and sending into limp mode.
So if you can't afford to do the full NADS setup in one hit I'd start with dawn's needle valves, and a boost gauge.. get some control over that turbo..
Then grab an EGR block and egt gauge (exhaust gas temp or piro gauge). Stop all that dirty exhaust gas clogging the system.
Then the rest of the NADS as you can.
As for your brakes, a simple clamp is fine, but remove the brake fluid tank and make sure it doesn't overflow as your winding the piston back in..

Sounds like its going into limp mode, you'll need to NAD it so boost is adjusted manually instead of via ECU.
Look up Chaz yellowfoot on NADS and ZD30 engines plenty of pics contacts, prices. Every thing you'll need to NAD your Patrol.
If your Intercooler is oily and funds allow you cant go past a Diesel Smart Welded IC. You'll also need a catch can, Provent 200
is the choice. After all this you will not know your Patrol ,It'll be like new again. Any Questions just ask ,plenty here know about fitting and tuning NADS
HIGHLY RECOMMONMEND, Spray MAF but make sure its dry before you re install.

if this patrol is a keeper nad it for sure. it is going to be a lot cheaper than replacing a blown engine.

What exactly does overboosting mean
