Ohoy there guys!
Not very long ago i bought me a 2,8 patrol. This patrol is in pretty good condition thinking about the salty roads in norway in wintertime.. The frame is almost without rust, but the chassis have some minor spots
Right now I'm in the middle of rebuilding the knuckles, looking around for information about the preload on the knuckle bearings. I've demountet everything, washed and cleaned up, and startet mounting.
I bought a knuckle repair/build up kit from AU, with new seals and stuff. I've bought 3 kg grease for lubricating the cv joints, the bearings and everything else.;) In the demounting I wrecked the knuckle bearing plugs, and I wantet to do everything as easy as possible and just use what I have. But I read online that I really should use these caps/plugs, so I ended up ordering these from nissan. About $40 AU EACH! That's pretty expensive from my point of view! wellwell.. That's pretty much how far I've came by now.
I'll try update later, add some pictures and alittle more info.
Regards,
Jakob
