Evening all.

Thought i should say gday and let you all know about me a little.

My names Chris and i live in the Barossa (south aus).

Been a Nissan follower for many years now and have owned our GQ for maybe 12 months now. Maybe more, cant remember now. Its just apart of the family and fleet.

Shes a 93 DX model supporting the tough old TD42. Engine was rebuilt 12 months prior to our ownership and apart from the cold morning miss (pump leakage) shes running well. The old girls got around 370xxx on her and supports a few scars, but i enjoy restoring automotive items, so in time itll look the part. Sedate 2 inch lift with Yokohama 31's, alloy bar with incorporated scrub bars and wide side steps.

Mainly got it for towing our Datsun 240K rally car, but its escalating...haha. Wanting to turbo it eventually.

Anyways, i work for a John Deere dealership and as mentioned enjoy working on cars and bikes....or anything really.

We have a Z32 at which im restoring, an old 82 model 720 which i toyed with many years ago along with a Suby. All toys and daily run abouts.

I joined up here, being a member also at Patrol4x4, there have been numerous redirections to this forum to which i thought it was time to finally join and enjoy the crew here too.

Anyways enough yak, feel free to pm me or what have you should you need to. Always happy to help.

Cheers and thanks!

Thanks everyone.

Appreciate the kind welcoming.

I'm a bit of a forum lover so ill be sticking around. Now that my accounts been activated completely there are a heap more threads to read, love build threads. Haha.

I'm a mod over at aus300zx forum, so i should comply with your rules here haha.

And yes, the manual is handy for the old boy with his baby. The GU IV.

My old td GQ. Not much tech there, she'll just keep powering on. Haha.

I hope in time I can catch up with some of e more local members. You've definitely got a vast directory of events to keep up with.

Look forward to it!

Thanks again.

Cheers,
Chris.
