3" exhaust 2008 patrol

Hi all, I just installed a 3" scotts rods exhaust on my 2008 patrol 3.0l CRD, what a mission that was. Has anyone else done this mod, if so what did you do with the heat shield around the turbo as I'm struggling to get it back on, not sure what I'm doing wrong. Will it cause any problems if i leave it off?? Any advice would be great, cheers

I have the Beaudesert 2.75" exhaust, and the heat shield just bolts straight back on, and I can see no reason why it wouldn't with yours.

Search and have a look for the heat shield removal thread i created, and that will help you get it back on

Oh, and I would make sure that you put it back on too, to prevent heat soak prematurely aging all the rubber pipes around the exhaust

finally got it on, just cut a little corner off where it meets the engine block and on she went, done it all up then realised i had to cut a hole for my EGT bung, so started all over again
