Has anybody noticed when replacing fuel filter on CRD .
The water trap drain fitting is not in the correct location.
The filter bracket has a position slotted, to allow drain tap to slot into.
The sensor on bottom of filter has clearance when in slot.
If you fit filter into this position the 4 fuel lines way out of position.
You have to turn around aprox 1/4 turn,making draining near imposible when req.
The only way would be to unbolt to drain.
All the hose clips ect are in right position,its just the drain
The genuine and non genuine filters have drain in same position.
If anybody has new vehicle with original factory filter,let me know if its facing engine or driver.
Spent a bit of time on this today,making sure right filter ect has me puzzled.
