Just about to buy my Father-in-laws 2006 wagon.
It'll be my first 4x4 and I'm hoping the wife and kids will love the adventure as I did with my parents.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm planning on spending at lot of time on here researching for upgrades and to try to avoid costly 4x4 mistakes, if that's possible lol.
Pictures will be forthcoming as soon as I have some. Name added to the WA register thanks WA 489.

Finally got home and took some pictures. Very stock inside and out. What would you suggest I need first ?
I'm thinking bulbar to mount some spotties to, roof rack, air pump to start ?

go for the front bar first, a snatch strap, compressor second,
work out what you want to do with it -
Lift?? then tyres -
No lift?? - then tyres

no point in spending good coin on tyres, if you then do the Lift, and they look too small......

careful planing of what you are going to use it for, then get the goodies when you can...........

cheers

I assume I can't put a winch behind it.
We're not planning on doing anything too extreme but that will probably change in time :-)
