Hi guys, just wondering if any one could let me know what the voltage should be on idle on a tb42e for the TPS. I have noticed now that I have put everything back together that car idles high (Around 2000rpm) I did some searching and have found out that it could be the TPS. I did try and take it off when I had the trottle body off by removing the 2 screws but i just screwed it back together, didnt realise it was that senssetive. Tried doing a search on the forums all morning but couldnt find an actual thread on what I was looking for.
Cheers

Tps voltage should be around .4v at idle. Very easy to adjust if u have a USB cable hooked up to the consult port. If you use the correct software it will even give you an indication that its set at idle and when you blip the throttle, the idle light switches off.
If this doesn't fix your high idle, there's a grey plastic adjustment screw on the back of the intake. But first make sure your tps is correct.

i dont yet have software for consult or a cable looking in to that a later date, probably good idea to get one but again its confusing on what to get.
I was thinking of just putting a pin into the cable and then using my multimeter to see the voltage for the moment.

Depends on if you want something mounted in the car permanently or not, cables are pretty much the same, if your good with electrics you could make your own, software is pretty much all the same and the permanently mounted ones....... well there is not a great deal to choice from for the TB42E. I will put up a link to my cable and software this arvo when I get back from work
